This Program is designed to help experienced and advanced athletes build jumping mechanics and elite explosive reaction combined with strength training/ force production to advance the athletes vertical leap. This program is useful for any athlete of any sport that involves sprinting and mass velocity. This program does not require the personal trainer. It consists of four days a week for a time period of twelve weeks. No upper body training is included, only lower body lifting. The athlete will undergo simple and advanced training methods to build or improve their explosiveness, vertical leap, and strength output.

This program includes:

  • 4 main days of training.
    • 2 days of lower body weight training a week.
    • 2 days of vertical training a week.
  • Full warm up routine
  • Specificaly jumping training(no weights needed)
  • Reps and rest time increase and decrease as program moves on.
  • Tutorials and examples.

 

Strength training and jump training go together perfectly. Lifting leads to force output, power, strength, durability and explosiveness. All these things enhance the athletes vertical leap.

The progam comes with links to videos of tutorials and examples of various workouts/training methods and the reasoning behind them.
